A Beautiful Arched Hood
Designers agree, a huge home trend this year is arches. A great way to bring the arch into the kitchen is with a beautiful arch hood. This hood is often made of wood and painted the same color as the cabinets for a seamless look. It conceals the hood ventilation and looks very high end
Stone Range Hood in a Traditional Kitchen
If the home design is more cozy with stones and bricks, bring that design element into the kitchen range hood. In this kitchen, they’ve added a strip of stone to a plastered hood. To add even more visual interest, there’s also stone curved brackets supporting the hood.
Concealed Minimal Range Hood
If you’re not a fan of the range hood design and would prefer to make it look like there is no range hood, you can hide your hood. A modern and clean aesthetic is to conceal the hood shape and venting in cabinets or the wall.
Black Steel Hood to Add Drama
If you’re looking to add drama to your kitchen, add a contrasting color hood. In this kitchen, they’ve opted for a smokey grey hood. I love this in here as all the other elements of the kitchen are soft, organic and transitional, but the hood adds a masculine feature.Â
Arched Bracket Detail on a Kitchen Range Hood
If you love the arched range hood, but also find your style to be more minimal and clean lines, add an arch bracket to frame out the kitchen hood. This could even be an easy DIY you can add to your existing range hood without any major renovation. It looks custom, but is doable!
Modern Steel Hood
If your style is more modern and minimal, opt for a muted steel hood. This steel hood is a flat panelled hood and plays well with the grey marble veining in the island and backsplash. I also like how the hood is the same height of the cabinets beside it to create more fluidity in the kitchen

This playful arch is the center of the kitchen. In this all wood kitchen, the eye is drawn upwards with this simple design of a scalloped arch trimmed with natural wood that compliments the wood cabinet and flooring.Â
